• From 1994 on, asylum seekers are no longer shown in the welfare statistics. The figures are thus not entirely comparable.
• Difficulties caused by the restructuring of the welfare statistics resulted in under-reporting in the reporting year 1994. For example, in the Federal State Bremen the entire data for Bremerhaven and in Rhineland-Palatinate the data of the towns Koblenz and Mainz are missing, in Berlin the figures are about 25 % too low. In 1995, the data show a minor under-reporting, because the data of Bremerhaven are missing. Aufgrund des starken Zugangs von Asylbewerbern zum letzten Quartal 2015 konnten in Bremen nicht alle Asylbewerberinnen und Asylbewerber technisch erfasst werden, sodass es hier zu einer Untererfassung kommt.
• Because of technical problems recipients of assistance towards living expenses in Bremen are not reported in the reporting years 2005 and 2006.
