- The data 2010 to 2013 are taken from an older QS-DIA-data set. In this data set, there were no patients but only cases of treatment. A patient may have been documented in several cases of treatment and therefore counted several times. Due to this the the number of cases in 2010 to 2013 are slightly elevated. Starting from 2014 defined patient pseudonyms were introduced. However, multiple counts are not yet completely prevented. If a patient is recorded as a hemodialysis and a peritoneal dialysis patient (change of the treatment procedure), the sum of the dialyzed patients of the different treatment procedures is higher than the total number of dialysis patients. At the beginning of 2014 there were still patients with missing dialysis procedures recorded. These data have not been fully corrected und lead to the fact that in 2014 the sum of the patients dialyzed with different treatment procedures is smaller than the total number of patients.
- The table was extended by the year 2016 on 24 Oct 2017.
