Follow-up therapeutic treatment (Anschluss-rehabilitation)
In terms of the Statistics on the Rehabilitation Services of the German Annuity Insurance Federation:Follow-up therapeutic treatment (Anschlussrehabilitation) is rendered directly after a hospital treatment or is in a close temporary connection and will only come into consideration in case of certain diseases. Follow-up therapeutic treatments are only realised in selected rehabilitation facilities. The aim is to cure or to compensate the impaired or lost functions and skills of the rehabilitants, so that they can handle the impacts and needs of daily life and professional life and to promote equal participation in society.
