Types of dialysis supply
In terms of the Report on dialysis treatment and kidney transplants in Germany of the Project Office "Quality Control in Renal Replacement Therapy (Quasi-Niere gGmbH):There are different procedures of dialysis: Centre dialysis: dialysis treatment of patients inside of a dialysis facility who require permanent presence of a practitioner. LC-dialysis (limited care): the patient is inside of a dialysis facility and performs the dialysis largely independently. Partly-inpatient dialysis: a dialysis procedure of patients, in whom on additional health risk requries close monitoring and an opportunity to take the patient to an intensive care unit if necessary. Inpatient dialysis: a dialysis procedure for patients, who are hospitalized because of a severe illness, even if not dependent on dialysis.
