Primary prevention
In terms of the Medical Review Board of the Leading Associations of the health insurance funds e.V.:The aim of primary prevention is to prevent the development of diseases. The objective of health promotion is not disease prevention but to keep well and fit. Promotion of health is a social task. It can not be achieved by the health insurances alone. Also important are other players in all sectors of society, for example politics, economy, social welfare, public health, accident insurance or workplace health promotion.
