Integrated care
In terms of the KG 2 statistics (statutory health insurance: e.g. cases and times of inability to work, sick pay, hospital treatment, home nursing care, services during pregnancy and maternity, childbirth benefit and death benefit) of the Federal Ministry of Health:In "integrated care" patients are treated in cross-sectoral respectively interdisciplinary structures employing quality assurance. Doctors, specialists, hospitals, prevention and rehabilitation facilities and other health care providers can cooperate and ensure the necessary knowledge exchange. For this purpose health insurance institutions conclude corresponding agreements with service providers.
