Staff costs
In terms of the Hospital statistics of the Federal Statistical Office:Staff costs cover all costs arising for the hospitals from employing medical and non-medical staff. All costs of the workforce of the hospital are recorded, regardless of whether this involves an employee or similar working relationship, a secondary occupation, or merely a temporary or auxiliary activity. The cost data also includes the workforce contributions to the social security system.
