Recognized occupational diseases
In terms of the Statutory Accident Insurance in Germany:An occupational disease is considered as recognized, if the suspicion of presence of an occupational disease via notification of occupational diseases is confirmed in a declaratory procedure, i.e. an occupational disease according to § 9 Abs. 1 SGB VII exists, which is included in the official list of occupational diseases respectively a disease, which can be compensated "like" an occupational disease according to § 9 Abs. 2 SGB VII.
