Cocaine
In terms of the annual narcotics report of the Federal Office of Criminal Investigation:Cocaine is obtained from the leaves of the coca bush, which is native in South-America.The previously dried coca leaves are in the first level processed to a so-called coca paste by means of chemical preparation. In further processing steps at first free base will be produced and then cocaine hydrochloride. From 10 kg of coca paste 4 kg of free base are obtained and from this 2 kg of cocaine hydrochloried. The end product is mainly used by snuffing. The euphorigenic stimulating effect of cocaine provokes constant consumption leading to a profound psychological addiction and a distinctive tendency to increase the dose. There is no physical addiction.
