Expenditure/revenues in facilities
In terms of the Social assistance statistics - expenditure and revenues - of the Federal Statistical Office:The welfare assistance includes the assistance rendered to the assistance recipients in facilities by means of accommodation or via support, if full care during day and night or partly-inpatient care is provided. The costs for care respectively for support are registered, as far as they are paid by the welfare assistance organizations. The expenditure include the daily rates for patient care invoiced by the facilities, amounts in cash and ancillary expenses, as well as all expenses which arise in connection with the stay in facilities. Facilities for partly-inpatient support are especially day and night clinics, workshops for the disabled, day-care centres for disabled children, overnight stay centres and the like, where the assistance recipients can stay for a considerable part of the day or night or for an otherwise limited period. Crucial to the allocation of costs as expenses in or outside of facilities is the place, where the serve is provided. Thus, outpatient treatments of inpatient or partly-inpatient assistance recipients which take place outside of the facilities, are also booked as expenditure outside of facilities.
