Amphetamines

Amphetamine, which is produced for the illicit drug market in illegal laboratories from other chemical substances, is similar in its chemical structure to the human messenger substances (neurotransmitters) adrenaline and dopamine. For improved ease of use and to minimize its perishability it is generally prepared in the form of a salt.
