Assistance according to chapter 5 to 9 SGB XII

In terms of the the social assistance statistics - recipients of assistance according to chapter 5 to 9 SGB XII of the Federal Statistical Office:

In chapter 5 to 9 of the newly created SGB XII "Social assistance" starting from 1 January 2005 the following assistances are listed in detail, which were known until the end of the year 2004 in the social assistance law under the term "Assistance for special circumstances":

  • Chapter 5 SGB XII: Assistance for health (§§ 47 to 52),
  • Chapter 6 SGB XII: Assistance for the integration of disabled persons (§§ 53 to 60),
  • Chapter 7 SGB XII: Assistance for nursing care (§§ 61 to 66),
  • Chapter 8 SGB XII: Assistance for overcoming special social difficulties (§§ 67 to 69),
  • Chapter 9 SGB XII: Assistance in other circumstances (§ 70 to 74).
