Assistance for the integration of disabled persons

In terms of the social assistance statistics - recipients of assistance according to chapter 5 to 9 SGB XII of the Federal Statistical Office:
The assistance for the integration of disabled persons according to chapter 6 SGB XII "Social assistance" has the task to prevent an imminent disability, to cure or to allay an existing disability or its consequences and to integrate people with disabilities in the community. Entitled are all persons, who are not only temporarily essentially disabled in a physical, mental or psychological way or who are threatened by disability, so far as the assistance is not given by an institution with a prior-ranking responsibility - like for example the health insurance, the pension insurance or the employment agencies.
