Botulism
In terms of the Notifiable Infectious Diseases - data collection by Robert Koch Institute:The typical symptom of botulism is a severe food poisoning with signs of paralysis, which is caused by the neurotoxin of the bacterium clostridium botulinum (very rare via clostridium butyricum or clostridium baratii). The pathogen can also cause the special symptoms of the baby botulism or occur in wounds (wound botulism).
