Crack

In terms of the annual narcotics report from the Federal Office of Criminal Investigation:
Crack, which is prepared from cocaine by converting cocaine hydrochloride to a base, is not yet very common in Germany. Crack is smoked and affects the nerve cells in the brain after just a few seconds. Users become highly (psychologically) dependent. Furthermore, the dependency develops considerably faster than with cocaine.
