Crude mortality rate

In terms of the glossary of the Robert Koch Institute (RKI):
The crude (general) mortaility is calculated as follows: number of deaths divided by the average population. It is usually multiplied by 100,000, so that the scale unit is "Deaths per 100,000 of the population".
