DRG

In terms of the Diagnosis Related Groups ("Fallpauschalenbezogene Krankenhausstatistik" - diagnoses and procedures of full-time inpatients in hospitals) of the Federal Statistical Office:
DRG, Diagnosis Related Groups, designates a form of remuneration of services in the health system. In contrast to period oriented services (individual service remuneration) using DRG the remuneration of medical services takes place per treatment case.
