In terms of the Statistics on the rehabilitation services of the German Annuity Insurance Federation:
The period of a service in medical rehabilitation or other measures to ensure participation is reported in days of care. They refer to the period from the beginning to the end of a service. The arrival and departure day are counted as one day.
