In terms of the Statistics on the rehabilitation services of the German Annuity Insurance Federation:
The formation of diagnosis groups is a hierarchical system. In the first classification stadium the represented diagnosis groups are based on the 22 orginal chapters of the ICD-10. In a second classification stadium these groups are subdivided by selected diagnosis groups. The combination was chosen mainly from the sociomedical view.
