Dialysis places

In terms of the Hospital statistics of the Federal Statistical Office:
In the Hospital statistics type and number of dialysis places are collected. The places for haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis are reported separately. There is a distinction between those used for hospital treatments according to § 39 SGB V and those used for the outpatient supply by medical practitioners, who are under contract to the health service or for institute outpatient facilities. In addition the number of day and night clinic places for dialysis patients is reported.
