Employed medical practitioners
In terms of the Federal Medical Registry of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians:Medical practitioners with their own practice under contract to the statutory health insurance are allowed to employ permanently three medical practitioners on a part-time or full-time basis. For medico-technical services four medical practitioners may be employed on a part-time or full-time basis; on request also more medical practitioners can be employed. Basis for employment of a medical practitioner in a closed planning district is, that the amount of services in the practice does not increase by more than three percent. Medical care units are also allowed to employ medical practitioners.
