Expenditure for integration assistance for the disabled
In terms of the Social assistance statistics - expenditure and revenues - of the Federal Statistical Office:Assistance for self-determined living in ambulatory assisted living facilities (own or shared apartment) are considered as assistance outside of facilities. In contrast, assistance in permanently assisted living facilities including outside living groups are assigned to the assistance in facilities.
Assistance for addiction does not exist as a separate assistance in the Social Code XII ("SGB XII"). Expenditure for services, which are provided to addicts, are either registered with the assistance for the integration for disabled persons under the assistance types stated in the welfare assistance notice. Or they are included in "assistance in cases of sickness" if the requirements for granting of assistance for the integration are not on hand.
