Full worker

In terms of the statutory accident insurance in Germany:
A full worker is a statistical figure, which reflects the average exposure time of a fully employed person to the occupational accident risk, which is used for the calculation of occupational accident quotas. A full worker corresponds to the average number of hours actually worked per year by a fully employed person in the commercial sector - not the standard number of hours worked. To determine the number of full workers, employments with different working hours are converted to employments with full time working hours. The full worker standard value takes into account the calendrical working days, the average holidays and days of illness as well as the paid hours per week and has been updated annually since 1986.
