Malaria

Malaria belongs to the diseases which are caused by parasites. The four different types of plasmodia are typically transmitted by mosquitoes. Malaria is overwhelmingly acquired in countries of Africa, Asia or South America. Fever is typical for malaria cases. Malaria tropica is the most dangerous form. It can be fatal in cases of absent or delayed treatment.
