Married couples, Married couple

In terms of the Microcensus of the Federal Statistical Office:
According to the definition of the microcensus only persons who are married and live together are considered as married couples. If one spouse is living temporarily or permanently outside the polled household at the time of the census and if the polled spouse doesn't give any data for him/her, the spouses are considered married, but living separately.
