Net yield

In terms of the Cost structure statistics of the Federal Statistical Office:
The net yield of medical practices is the difference between income and expenditures. The net yield is always reported per medical practice and per owner of a medical practice. The net yield does not represent the business profit of the practice, because for example the expenditure for practice initiation (expenditure attributable to the reporting year and/or depreciation for the reporting year for a purchased practice value) and expenses of a private nature for the practice owner and the family members for old-age, invalidity, survivors and health insurances, also contributions to corporate pension institutions for the reporting year are not considered.
