Nursing home (for the elderly)
In terms of the home statistics of the Federal Ministry for the Family, the Elderly, Women and Young people:residential nursing homes are facilities for looking after the elderly and serve to provide comprehensive care and support of chronically ill elderly people in need of nursing attention. The system is such that premises, amenities and staff are directed towards exercising and maintaining the remaining strengths of the elderly with medical assistance, as well as an improvement of the general condition, particularly by means of activation inducing care.
