Passed final examinations

In terms of the vocational training statistics of the Federal Statistical Office:
Persons who have passed a final examination in an acknowledged professional training code.
The final examination is to determine whether the skills and knowledge required by the training course have been attained by the trainee.
Those who have completed a professional training course corresponding to the training code are admitted to the final examinations. Apart from the above, employees without professional training in terms of the code but with many years of practice, or persons trained in professional education colleges or other facilities can be admitted to the final examinations under certain conditions. These so-called "external" participants are also registered as having passed the final examinations.
The final examinations can be taken again twice if not passed the first time.
