Prevention (German Statutory Accident Insurance)

In terms of the statutory accident insurance in Germany:
Prevention has the aim to avoid occupational accidents, occupational diseases and work-related health hazards. Modern prevention follows the holistic approach, which includes safety-related and occupational health measures as well as health protection.
The institutions of the statutory health insurance engage in this task with success. Aim of the prevention by the liability insurance associations ("Berufsgenossenschaften") is safety and health at work.This includes consultation and monitoring, research, education and training as well as information. These measures will provide the prerequisites for safety and health in enterprises as well as road safety.
