Rent subsidy recipients

In terms of the rent subsidy statistics of the Federal Statistical Office:
Rent subsidy recipients are persons who possess an approved claim for the granting of a rent subsidy at the time or in the period of reporting. Households with low incomes receive rent subsidies as an allowance for the rental costs, owners living in their own homes as a cost allowance to achieve acceptable living costs. In individual cases, the amount of rent subsidy depends on the size of the household, the family income and the cost of living.
