Severely handicapped persons

In terms of the Labor market statistics - statistics on reports according to Article 80 of the Rehabilitation and Participation of Disabled Persons Act / Code of Social Law IX of the Federal Employment Agency - and the Statistics on the severely handicapped persons of the Federal Statistical Office:
As severely handicapped persons are regarded, who
  • a) are not only temporarily physically, mentally or emotionally handicapped with a degree of disability of at least 50,
  • b) legally live in the Federal Republic of Germany or have their usual residence or workplace as an employee there and
  • c) possess a certification (identification card) of disability.
