Special drugs

In terms of the German Drug Index of the AOK Research Institute:
Pharmaceuticals which are usually used for special therapy procedures in clinical centres and special ambulances and whose prescription is continued in the outpatient after-care are called special drugs. Typical special drugs are used in transplantation medicine, oncology, for ADIS patients and in reproduction medicine.
