Stillbirths

In terms of the Statistics on the natural movement of the population of the Federal Statistical Office:
Since April, 1, 1994, only children with a weight at birth of at least 500 g have been registered as stillbirths (previously from July, 1, 1979, 1,000 g, previously at least 35 cm body-length). Miscarriages (since April, 1, 1994, less than 500 g weight at birth, previously from July, 1, 1979, less than 1,000 g weight at birth, previously less than 35 cm body-length) are not recorded by the registrars and are not considered.
