Types of pensions
In terms of the Statistics on the number of retired people respectively of the Statistics on people entering retirement of the German Annuity Insurance Federation:Pensions are paid as:
- pensions because of age (standard old-age pensions, pensions for long-time insured persons and so on),
- pensions because of diminution of ability to work and
- pensions because of death (pensions for widows, widowers and orphans and pensions for parenting).
