Somatoform disorders
In terms of the cost-of-illness accounts of the Federal Statistical Office:Somatoform disorders are physical ailments for which, despite a varity of medical examinations, no clear physical cause can be discovered. Most are heart or gastrointestinal conditions, dizziness, physical weakness or head and back pain, which can lead to partly significant restrictions of professional and social life.
