Potential workforce


In terms of the Microcensus of the Federal Statistical Office:
The potential workforce (working persons) includes all persons with residence in the federal territory (resident concept), which exert or search a direct or indirect gainful activity (self-employed, family workers, employees), independently of the importance of the yield of this activity for their livelihood and without regard to their effective accomplished or contracted working hours. The workforce includes the employed and the unemployed persons.
