Dental group prophylaxis, activities
According to § 21 Code of Social Law (SGB), book V, the health insurance funds in cooperation with the dentists and responsible authorities for dental health care in the Federal Länder, have to promote and share the cost of implementation of measures to identify and prevent dental diseases of insured persons, who have not completed the 12th year of age. In schools and facilities for handicapped persons, in which the average caries risk of pupils is above average, the measures are realized until the 16th year of age.
