• From 1994 on, asylum seekers are no longer shown in the welfare statistics. The figures are thus not entirely comparable.
• Ab Berichtsjahr 2020 werden Bedarfe für den notwendigen Lebensunterhalt in Einrichtungen nach § 27b SGB XII auf Grundlage der Änderungen des Bundesteilhabegesetzes und die dadurch bewirkte Trennung der Leistungen zur Deckung des Lebensunterhaltes und der Fachleistung der Eingliederungshilfe im Wesentlichen nur noch für stationäre Einrichtungen der Hilfe zur Pflege anerkannt. In diesem Zusammenhang kam es im Berichtsjahr 2020 gegenüber 2019 zu einem deutlichen Rückgang der Empfängerinnen und Empfänger von Hilfe zum Lebensunterhalt in Einrichtungen.
